Abstract

social welfare department of Maharashtra State has introduced the post matric scholarship for scheduled caste to provide equal opportunity in education for disadvantage sections of state. The main object of the study is to provide the financial assistance for higher education belonging to the Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe & Other Backward Class students to enter into the higher, general and technical streams of education.
